| You no longer need
to travel to India to join Mother Teresa praying before Our Lord
in the Blessed Sacrament. In the summer of 1986, 21-year-old
Susan Conroy journeyed to Calcutta alone to help the Missionaries
of Charity. She developed a personal friendship with Blessed Mother Teresa that
lasted throughout the course of of 11 years, until Mother Teresa was called home to God.
Susan joyously received from Mother Teresa a copy of her old prayer book with a hand-written message inside.

Now the author of the best-selling Mother
Teresa’s Lessons of Love & Secrets of Sanctity presents
a one-of-a-kind collection of the prayers, insights, and wisdom
of Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta, including some never-before-published
photographs. Each has been carefully, and prayerfully, selected
for use in daily prayer an Eucharistic adoration.
Mother Teresa gave Susan her blessing
and approval to share these words and prayers with others "to
bring them peace and joy too." The original "pocket sized" edition of this book,
titled Praying in the Presence of Our Lord with Mother Teresa,
received the personal approval of Sister Nirmala Joshi,
Mother Teresa’s successor as the order’s superior general. This
new expanded edition, originally self published by Susan and available
from Marian Press since August 15, 2016, just in time for the Canonization
of Blessed Mother Teresa, includes many more prayers and photographs
published together as Susan had always dreamed. May we all expoerience the joy of being close to Blessed Mother Teresa by sharing her life of unceasing prayer and merciful love for all. Calcutta is very far away. Heaven is a lot closer. Blessed Mother Teresa is only a prayer away from us now.
